1. About these Terms
These Terms of Use ("Terms") govern access to and use of the Lighthouse platform and related services provided by WE! Interactive Pte Ltd ("WE", "we", "us", or "our"). By registering for, accessing, or using Lighthouse, users agree to these Terms.
If a user is using Lighthouse on behalf of a company or organization, that user represents that they have authority to bind that entity to these Terms.
2. The Lighthouse service
Lighthouse is a business software platform that may provide:
- SEO scanning and diagnostics
- keyword research and opportunity analysis
- AI / answer-engine readiness insights
- reporting and prioritization
- integrations with selected third-party services including Google services and approved external providers
We may modify, improve, suspend, or discontinue features from time to time.
3. Eligibility and accounts
Users must provide accurate account information and keep it up to date. Users are responsible for:
- maintaining the confidentiality of their login credentials
- all activity conducted through their account
- ensuring that only authorized users access their workspace
- promptly notifying us of suspected unauthorized access
4. Connected services and third-party platforms
Lighthouse may allow users to connect third-party services such as Google Search Console, Google Analytics, and Google Ads. Users are responsible for ensuring that:
- they have the right to connect the selected account, property, site, or customer
- they have obtained any required internal approvals or permissions
- their use of connected data complies with applicable law and their contractual obligations
Third-party platforms remain subject to their own terms, policies, availability, and technical limitations. WE is not responsible for changes made by third-party providers, including API changes, service interruptions, verification requirements, access restrictions, or scope limitations.
5. Acceptable use
Users must not:
- use Lighthouse for unlawful, deceptive, or unauthorized purposes
- attempt to gain unauthorized access to accounts, systems, data, or services
- interfere with platform security or integrity
- use Lighthouse to infringe third-party rights
- upload or connect data they do not have rights to use
- misuse Google or other connected data in a way inconsistent with disclosed purposes
- reverse engineer, scrape, or abuse the platform beyond permitted use
6. Customer data and connected data
As between the parties, users retain ownership of their own source data, website content, account materials, and connected-account data, subject to the rights necessary for us to operate Lighthouse.
Users grant WE a limited right to host, process, analyze, store, and display such data solely for:
- providing Lighthouse features
- generating reports and recommendations
- maintaining the platform
- enforcing security and legal obligations
7. WE ownership and intellectual property
Lighthouse, including its software, underlying logic, branding, report templates, workflows, design, and related intellectual property, remains the property of WE or its licensors. No ownership rights in Lighthouse are transferred except for the limited right to use the platform in accordance with these Terms.
8. Third-party components
Certain features may rely on third-party services, infrastructure, APIs, models, or licensed components. These remain subject to their own terms and licensing conditions.
WE is not responsible for third-party downtime, feature deprecation, pricing changes, policy changes, or access revocation.
9. No guarantees
Lighthouse provides analysis, reporting, and recommendations as a decision-support tool.
Unless expressly agreed in writing, Lighthouse does not guarantee:
- search rankings
- traffic growth
- lead generation
- conversion uplift
- ad performance
- keyword performance
- AI / LLM citations or visibility
- uninterrupted availability of connected third-party services
10. Reports and recommendations
Lighthouse outputs are informational and depend on many variables outside WE's control, including:
- user implementation
- website quality
- competition
- third-party platform changes
- content changes
- technical environment
- market conditions
Users remain responsible for reviewing and deciding whether and how to act on Lighthouse recommendations.
11. Fees and payment
If Lighthouse is provided on a paid basis, fees, billing terms, taxes, renewal terms, and payment periods will be set out in the applicable order form, quotation, or commercial agreement. Failure to pay may result in suspension, limitation of access, or termination.
12. Confidentiality
Each party must keep the other party's confidential information confidential and use it only for the purpose of performing or receiving the service, except where disclosure is required by law.
13. Security and compliance
We will use reasonable safeguards to protect Lighthouse and the data processed within it. Users are responsible for their own internal approvals, permissions, and lawful use of connected services. Where required, each party will comply with applicable data protection laws and regulations relevant to its role.
14. Suspension and termination
We may suspend or terminate access to Lighthouse if:
- fees remain unpaid
- a user breaches these Terms
- a user's use creates legal, security, or operational risk
- continued service would cause us to breach law, policy, or third-party obligations
Users may stop using Lighthouse at any time, subject to any committed commercial term in any applicable agreement. Termination does not affect accrued rights, payment obligations, confidentiality, IP protections, liability limitations, or any clauses intended to survive.
15. Disclaimers
To the maximum extent permitted by law, Lighthouse is provided on an "as available" and "as is" basis, except as otherwise expressly stated in a signed agreement. We disclaim implied warranties to the extent permitted by law, including implied warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, non-infringement, and uninterrupted availability.
16. Limitation of liability
To the maximum extent permitted by law:
- WE is not liable for any indirect, incidental, consequential, special, punitive, or loss-of-profit damages
- WE is not liable for loss of data, loss of business opportunity, or loss arising from third-party service interruptions
- WE's total aggregate liability under these Terms shall not exceed the fees actually paid for Lighthouse in the 12 months immediately preceding the event giving rise to the claim, unless a different cap is set in a signed commercial agreement
17. Indemnity
Users will indemnify and hold WE harmless from claims, losses, or liabilities arising from:
- their content, data, or connected-account materials
- their unlawful or unauthorized use of Lighthouse
- their infringement of third-party rights
- their breach of these Terms
18. Changes to the service or Terms
We may update Lighthouse and these Terms from time to time. Continued use after updated Terms take effect constitutes acceptance of the updated Terms, unless applicable law requires further consent.
19. Governing law
These Terms are governed by the laws of Singapore.
